FATS

As we know that most of the people are  consuming fats but mostly are unaware that they consuming which type of fatty foods .Are they healthy or not .So,in this blog i discuss about FATS-Types, benefits & their side effects .

What are fats ?

Fats is a type of nutrient which is get from the diet and it  stored in our body as a energy so we work properly and it is helpful in physical activity like sports and gym.Fats is necessary fuel source which is need for the  human body and a moderate amount of fats is a good diet for our healthy lifestyle.
 

Fats are commonly come from oil,ghee,butter,dairy products,meat,nuts and vegetables .Fats is also describe as a macro nutrients like protein& carbohydrates which helps to maintain your weight.


TYPES OF FATS

1.Saturated fats.

2.Unsaturated fats.

Saturated Fats:-

Saturated fats are also called as unhealthy fats or bad fats which creates the various health diseases like heart attack,diabetes ,blood pressure,weight gain  and  increase the cholesterol level (LDL) as well .

LDL is low density lipoprotiens it is also called as bad cholesterol which comes from Saturated  fat .LDL leads to build up our artries which creates the heart diseases.

Examples of saturated fats food

1.Beef Meat 

2.Pork meat 

3.Refined oil,Palm oil

4.Ghee 

5.Butter

6.Whole Fat Milk 

7.Cheese 

8.Ice cream

9.Cream

10.Lamb

11.Egg yolk

In addition fried foods and baked foods contain high saturated food  and increase  choelsterol when consume in high level .

 

Trans Fat:-

Trans Fat is a form of saturated Fat which is produced from hydrogenetd oil and its convert in solid fats .Trans fat are come from fried foods which increase the LDL and Increase the level of heart diseases.

 

Unsaturated Fat :-

Unsaturated Fat are also called as healthy fats or good fats which reduces the risk of various diseases like heart diseases,blood pressure and decreases the level of bad cholesterol (LDL)" low density lipoprotiens" and increase the level of good cholestreol (HDL)"High density lipoprotiens".

 Examples of Unsaturated fats /Good fats 

 1.Nuts(Cashew,Almond)

2.Walnut

3.Peanuts and Peanut Butter

4.Olive oil

5.Avacado oil.

6.Almond Butter

7.Sesame seeds


Benefits of  Unsaturated Foods:-

 1.Improves cholesterol levels 

2.Maintain the weight 

3.Help in fat loss

4.Improves the skin

5.Increase the hormone levels 

6.Helps to build Muscles  (some fats like almond and walnut have a little amount of protien as well)

8.Relief  from constipation

9.Maintan  blood pressure

10.Boost the immune system.



Monounsaturated fats :- 

Monounsaturated fats (MUFA) is a form of unsaturated fats and are also called as healthy fats mostly found in healthy oils like Olive oil ,avacado oils 

These fats helps to decrease inflammation and reduce the risk of heart diseases It is also helpful in fat loss and maintain the weight so the people look fi\t and healthy.



Polyunsaturated fats:-

Polyunsaturated fats is also a form of unsaturated fats which is mainly found in nuts ,seeds and animal foods like sardines .These fats are also comes under the healthy fats .

Polyunsatuarated fat helps to maintain the weights ,boost the immunity and lower the bad cholestrol and increase the good cholestrol .

 




Every Food is Good for your health if you consume in moderate level .consume the fat foods according to the daily calories so you will ve fit and fine
